Owner-Requested Euthanasia

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is never easy. Our team is here to provide a compassionate and peaceful experience for you and your pet during this difficult time. Owner-requested euthanasia is available for a $100 fee. Depending on the technician availability at the time of service, you may or may not be able to remain with your pet during the process.

Pet Cremation Services

When you choose cremation for your beloved pet, we understand how important it is to have their remains returned to you with care and dignity. We offer pet cremation services through Trusted Journey for a $200 fee. Remains are typically returned within approximately one week. During your phone call, our staff will discuss the available options for how you would like to receive your pet’s remains.

Pet Food Pantry

The KHS Pet Food Pantry Program was created to help community pet owners who are temporarily unable to feed their animals. Helping the community means keeping animals stay out of the shelter and in their forever homes.

Limit one bag of pet food per household.
