How To Adopt
The Kokomo Humane Society offers pet adoptions by appointment only.

Refund Policy
Adoption fees are donations to the Kokomo Humane Society and are refundable only with the approval of the KHS Executive Director.
- Please note that certain animals have special fees associated with them.
- We accept cash or credit only for the adoption fee.
- No checks accepted.
Adoption Fees
Canine Adoption Fees
- Dogs under six months old: $200
- Dogs over six months old: $150
Feline Adoption Fees
- Kittens under 6 month old: $70
- Cats over six months old: $50
- Barn/Working Cats: $10 (Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter surgery and vaccines.)
Adoption Fees for Small Animals
- Rabbits and Guinea Pigs: $25
