How To Adopt
We are open for walk-ins! You may complete an adoption application before or during your visit. Completing the application ahead of time may help speed up the adoption process.

Hold Policy
You may place a free 24-hour hold on an animal with an approved application. Only one hold per person, per animal is allowed. Holds cannot be extended and will automatically expire after 24 hours. If you are unable to visit for a few days, please call the day before you are available to check the animal’s availability and place a hold if applicable.
Refund Policy
We know things can change, and we want you and your new pet to be happy. Here’s how our refund policy works: If you return your pet within the first three weeks after adoption, you can get a full refund. After three weeks, refunds are decided case by case by our shelter director. If you have any questions, please contact us.
- Please note that certain animals have special fees associated with them.
- We accept cash or credit only for the adoption fee.
- No checks accepted.
Adoption Fees
Canine Adoption Fees
- Dogs under six months old: $250
- Dogs over six months old: $175
- Senior Dogs 8+: $50
Feline Adoption Fees
- Kittens under 6 month old: $100
- Cats over six months old: $75
- Senior Cats 10+: $50
- Barn/Working Cats: $10 (Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter surgery and vaccines.)
Adoption Fees for Small Animals
- Rabbits and Guinea Pigs: $25
