The Kokomo Humane Society is offering Adoptions by Appointment only. To schedule an adoption appointment please fill out our adoption application on the link below. Hold Service Policy
We welcome your interest in our animals, and it is our policy to offer "hold service" when possible. Animals can be held for 24 hours with a $25 non-refundable deposit which is applicable towards the adoption fee. After 48 hours, the animal will be placed back up for adoption. If you are traveling in the hopes of adopting one of our pets, please call ahead to ensure the animal you wish to adopt has not already been adopted.
Refund Policy
Adoption fees are donations to the Kokomo Humane Society, and are refundable only with the approval of the Executive Director.
Please note that certain animals have special fees associated with them.
We accept cash or credit only for the adoption fee. No Checks allowed .
